Need help in locating where the wires go, i know there's 2 earths, and one screws onto the small fuse box next to the fuel cut off switch, but where does the other one with an earth go?

    Cheers, Luke

Help! still really confused, the only cable in the picture that has any chance of reaching the alt is the big earth, but then that leaves the 2 nuts which have nowhere to go.

    Where does everything go?

    it's a single plug loom from a 1.4 1999 saxo mk1

ye the one goes round to alt then one goes the the fuse box then the 2 together just go down the right by the brake lines as long as you have them on the body work they will be fine, i put one on my gear box also and one on the body work

    here this is mine

Please don't go putting any of those to earth, you'll burn your car to the ground!
Thats the positive terminal on your battery

Thelong one to the left goes onto the big terminal on your starter motor.

The others will go to your fuse box on the o/s inner wing

The alternator wire is a chunky one that is seperate and goes from the starter to the alternator

So none in the picture go to the alternator, as you said the big on the left goes into the starter motor, and the other 2 where the fusebox is, correct?

thank you for beating me to this bud, you will fuck your car if you plug those to the chassis, as roywalker has said 1s for the started motor and the others go iirc to the fuse boxes, theres another wire that runs around the back of the engine for the alternator, the negative terminal is for your earths and there should be 2 of them 1 to the box the other to the shell,

Still really confused lol, i've got it on the starter motor and on the "small fusebox" but i still have one left, i take it this goes into the "large fusebox" but there's nothing to screw into it, am i missing somthing from the fusebox?

I have the main box with all the fuses in it, and all the wires that go into it from underneath, i also have a yellow multi pin plug witch is attached to a yellow sqaure, but then i have a black plug which can hold two plugs? but i have nothing to put in there?

    Help!

When you look in the main fuse box pull the little black box bit out a bit which is housing the fuses. Ull notice that on the side there is a flap which when opened reveals 2 threaded sections, thats where the cable with the nut fitting screws onto.

    Hope that makes sense.
