Longlife exhausts

Firstly, my standard exhaust is rusted to shit, ive been reading through the posts and i seem to get the impression that supersprint, saxsport and miltek are excellent exhausts for full systems and cat backs. Magnex, piper and sportex are good for back boxes.

The motorsport cat 2" race saxsport exhaust is way put of my budget, miltek dont seem to have a standard saxo system which i could get a local miltek dealer to fit, which leaves suspersprint and, the only exhaust system that im familiar with, longlife.

longlife said they could probably only go down to 2.5", with a full cat back system being 299 which includes fitting, vat, choice of tips etc, would i loose abit of power being over 2"?

going to get a decent enclosed induction kit aswell.

edit* does it seem good value for money, or would you recomend looking for some second hand supersprint etc? im not looking for the loudest exhaust i can find, im just looking for some nice little power gains and a tidy look and sound.

personally i wouldn't go for a "custom" long life system as the way they now bend the pipes creates restrictions and half the time the fitters want the job done as quick as possible.

    personally i would go for

as there proven to give some gains and sound the nuts tbh. and better value than the long life system.

cheers lads, bang on what im lookin for! take it it doesnt de-cat a standard 1.4 furio?

depends if the cat is in the manifold or under the car. If its under the car then yes it does, if its in the manifold then you need something like a 4-2-1 manifold to de-cat it.
