plug missing on thermostat

    where the thermostat housing is where it joins to the side of head, theres a plug underneath it, should there be something attached to it ? its on a mk1 vts

    mmm might be a temp sensor ? is your temp gauge working ok ?

    yes well sort of lol, it rises between half and 3 quarters but as soon as your driving it drops to just under quarter

    Mate only saxo`s on the continent have aircon thats what the spare plastic plug is for on the alternator wiring loom.

    gauge sounds bout right seen a mk2 with nothing on the lower sender is it blue and dont no wot its for quite weired hope you find out mate

    theres 3 plugs from the thermostat. 1 is temp sensor for ecu, 1 is sensor for temp gauge, and the 3rd plug is aircon but seen as most saxos do not have aircon the plug is unused
