ive pm'd him so will see wot happens
drivin along at 35-40mph u can feel a very bad wobble coming from the back
i can only presume its the beam as there is some play on the side where the wobble is coming from

another problem added to the list of saxo jobs i got

    sure thats not a bearing?

im sure its the beam as when i jacked it up and garab the wheelthe whole trailing arm moves, u can see the play in the beam but no play on the wheel bearing

    Hi guys,

Just had a full refurb beam fitted for my VTR today - in & out in 2hr & 45 mins (and that's with Ian, the owner I believe, making a coffee for us both!). Shiny new beam, no play & no clanging. My near side was completely shot - 30mm of play at the wheel end!!!!

Chuffed to bits. The guy's workshop is a typical old school style garage, admittedly, its on an industrial area/bit of wasteland in rural Melton Mowbray (pot hole city :-) ), so don't expect the pit lane at Silverstone, but it does just what you need. With the car up in the air, we found a few more issues that I needed to sort for the MOT, and even rectified one of these within another 2 minutes with the car in situ.

I can't plug IM enough. Its not the cheapest way to get it through its MOT, but it will probably outlive the life of the rest of car, and, if yours is a little on the rough side for a VTR like mine is, this work has probably doubled the cars' monetary value!

There is a bit of a sale on at the moment, so their prices are a tad lower, but even so, well worth the money.

    Best of luck with yours,

    Chris.
