whats this valve?

   Hi guys,
   found out the rpob with my dodgy brakes, my mechanic said i need a new 'equalising valve'.
   Ive never heard of it!
   So, wat does it do, and any idea of a price of one?

   Correct me if i`m wrong as known as rear brake bias valve.They stick & can sometimes be freed off.

   if your getting a mechanic to do it make sure he actually changes it ask for the old one. some places just remove it replace seals and put it back in. i dont think there very expensive
