Cobra Alarm

   Well I bought a new saxo vtr off one of the members on Saxp
   
   he mentioned somethin about the alarm 'sticking'
   
   
   well I jus tried to start the car now and the car doesnt start at all. Battery is full charged and the orange key jus flashed once on the dashboard.. after that it wont start
   
   
   Car unlocks/locks... Is there anyway I can get the car running and disconnecting this piece of poo type alarm? think its called Cobra Alarm :/

   If you can follow all the wires were they go to, then 1 by 1 disconnect them. Could try that or just disconnect the main power unit for the alarm from the live were ever its connecting.

   I can try that but the car wont start without it being off? i dont know how it all works tbh lol

   Find a model number or sumat put it in google then find out about it, or theres a alarm specialist in Hockley, Ced's i think its called

   If you coming from soho rd, go under the flyover, take 2nd exit towards the airport

   oh ok, Btw is the alarm in anyway connected to the ecu? if I jus rip out the cobra alarm.. will my car start? 8-)

    Im not to sure about that, i think there just wired to your immobiliser and central locking

    keep wonderin why it wouldnt staart the car :[ damn what a shame.. only the 1st day ive drove it and problems occur

    i think its you immobiliser. you might have to get you key reprogrammed by citroen

    Not sure why this has happened. Just come out of nowhere... :/ anyway how much would it cost to get it reprogrammed? would I need to do anything else?
