Front bumper

hi, i was at a test day at croft a few weeks back, and lost the back end and stuffed my car, should of been an insurance right off, but being on a track wouldn't be insured so I rebuilt it myself, and put on a gold front bumper, on a blue vtr, looks sh*t but oh well, resonantly found out it's blue underneath, could I use paint thinner and remove the gold rather than pay for a respray? cheers if anyone can help

You'll be lucky - If you remove the top layer you'll probably damage the blue underneath. Try light sanding with wet and dry to take the top layer off?

that's what my dad said, I'll have a go, if it takes both off, it's a respray quick! haha

Yeah, start with really light sand paper, and if it doesn't budge move to heavier stuff.

Remember to keep it wet though, best chance you've got?
