Squeaky noise..

Ok i have searched and found topics but i dont think its anything to do with the things suggested.

Basicly when i drive, i get a squeaky noise which sounds like its coming from the rear left of my car. It gets faster as the speed increases like something is rubbing but is noisier when going slower. Any ideas what this could be? wheel bearing maybe? Any help would be great

Hmm this happened to my front passenger side wheel for a while and then it stopped and hasnt happened since, i just put it down to the brake pads i don't think it would be a bearing as ive heard they dont tend to make screeching noises

have you had a new exhaust put on?
i had a SS centre pipe on with out the gasket that joins to the manifold and that was causing the squeaky noise

Nah the exhaust is a couple of years old. So i dont think its that, thanks though. and if bearings dont squeak my guess might be something to do with the brake maybe? I hadnt driven it much as ive only just passed my test but its never happend before when i have been out in it. Its never been sat around that long so i dont think the break may have seezed or anthing. Puzzled much!

Check to see if your rear wheels are both sitting straight, one of the tyres maybe rubbing on the inside. Barrings maybe fooked.
