    hi
my saxo 1.1 desire has been sittin for a while and i stupidly left the hand brake on and now the car dusent move so i got the car on a jack and turned the back wheels the left wheel turned but was slightly stiff.
the wright wheel took a bit of pushin but it turned for a bit then just felt like sumone put the car in gear or put the hand break on it just wouldnt move but im still able to turn it half way round ???
    any idias ?

start car up and drive it backwards and forwards, that should free everything

ive been told its the brake shoe thats came out cuz the cold dun sumthin to the spring or sumthin but i dunno if i want to take the wheel of and take the drum apart to find out its still in the right place

Let the handbrake off take a drift and a hammer and belt the drums hard on bothsides. That should sort it. The shock will release the shoes from the drum.

or get hammer and a long bar put throw the wheel on the drum and hit a few times then try going back and forwards i had to do it a few time and thats how i did it

if it turned a little bit theres a possibility that the lining has come away from the actual shoe and jammed the brake

As above, sounds like the friction material has come off the shoe.

Had a callout the otherday to fit some shoes for someone as they couldnt even reverse the car off their drive to get it on a flatbed.
