What year is your car? If yours is a 2001 onwards with 3 plug ECU, then it probably won't fit.

The MK1 and early MK2 (single plug ECU) have a shorter CAT and longer centre pipe.
Later MK2 (3 plug ECU) have a longer CAT and shorter centre pipe.

Unless you swap the centre pipe for the shorter one, the only solution is to use it with a MK1/ early MK2 CAT or decat pipe.

All the VTS exhausts are the same length so you will be fine.

Single plug and 3 plug CATs are different lengths mate. The 3 plug CAT is longer as it has a lambda hole after it for the second lambda sensor.

I didn't realise until I tried to fit a MK1 Piper centre pipe to my 3 plug CAT and it was too long.

EDIT: Single plug CAT vs 3 plug CAT.

Doesn't look like there's much in it, but a single plug centre pipe was way too long to fit my 3 plug CAT.

i had my magnex from a MK1 VTS on a Mk2 VTS no issues with length, i know what you mean about the CAT length, but mine fit fine.

I don't think it will fit personally, but you could always check by getting under the car and holding the centre pipe up to the end of the CAT. If the centre pipe is too long, you'll probably find the bend in the pipe is wedged against the fuel tank/ heat shield.

If that's the case, you can either get a MK1/ early MK2 CAT or decat pipe, or get the shorter Magnex centre section.
