Air Filter Relocation..

   Hello there, was thinking of piping me air filter down by the fog light so its gettin hit by cold air, would this make any differance on power... as theres going to be more distance the air has to travel before it reaches the engine?

   Cold air is always better than warm air, the distance won't really make much difference. You won't really notice a difference in power, but every little helps.

   Just buy a cold air feed from halfords, £10 for a metre but its wide so it's a good buy. I have mine connected to the standard air duct at the front then going straight to my filter

   just remember, lower the air ilter the better, because the air is denser, just mesh your fog light hole to protect it

   Altering the track length of the induction can increase torque but lose BHP.
   
   Also runs increased risk of water damage

   As can too many bends in the piping as it restricts air flow.
