Injector Cleaning - My Opinion

    Had my spare set of injectors cleaned by Injectortune recently and finally got round to fitting them last weekend. All i can say is wow what a difference.

    1) Starts with pretty much no turning over at all.
    2) Pulls so much smoother.
    3) Idles much better and is so much quieter than before
    4) Compared MPG from a full tank and seems to be on average about 3 MPG more.

    I also had an idle problem where my car would hunt around between 750 and 1000 RPM. This seemed to have cleared this up.

    I know another member of this site had his injectors cleaned and noticed a big difference. It is the same for me - my spare set were 9.4% down on OE spec cc/min flow and had done 2/3rds mileage the set in my car had.

    For anyone thinking of giving it a go i would highly recommend giving it a go. I dont think injectortune are an affiliate on here anymore as their forum section is gone (poor take up of injector cleaning??) but you can go through http://www.injectortune.co.uk

    My vtr hunts around 600-1100 rpm which is annoying, thought it might be the icv but if this cleared yours then i might give it a go.
    How much was it if you don't mind me asking

    £46 including postage but this was with club discount. not sure if that applies now they have disappeared as an affiliate.

    It definitely helps when cleaning injectors, especially after certain mileage (50k +). I did mine and felt a big difference in pull and idling got smoothe.
