Air/Fuel ratio meters??

  1. #1
need a little help. i have a air/fuel ration(afr) meter from years ago. i belive it a "narrowband" which means it constantly flickers from lean to rich. does anybody no how to stop this? seen on ebay "wideband" but very expensive. and also steeper motor controled ones?? need a solid reading as i am turboing with a 5th injector o dont want it running lean or rich!
    cheers

Narrowband is no good for turbo as its only rough guide
When I had my old r5 turbo you can pick them up for under £200

is the wideband the o2 sensor side of it?? e.g could i get a "wideband" sensor but wire normal digital gauge to it??

Yes - thats the whole point...

Weld in a lamdba 22mm take off in your downpipe and fit the Stack sensor (Bosch wideband) in there which goes to your digital gauge, leaving the shitty narrowband for your ECU.

Dont expect much change from £200.
