How to remove Mk1 spoiler

Hi all

Looking at the spoiler I can't see how it is fixed on my Mk1 VTS - there are two holes either side in the inside of the bootlid, but you can't see in because of the angle, and although you can feel something in there, it doesn't feel like a bolt.

Any pointers appreciated,

Hi mate i always thought the MK1 spoiler was just fixed into place with stong adesive...I may be completly wrong.

Are those bolts things you can feel plastic or metal? If there plastic they could just be plastic pins that keep the spoiler stright when fitting.

haha - if what you can feel is plastic and not metal I think it would be safe to say its stuck on with adesive...Im sure even citreon wouldnt attatch a spoiler with just plastic bolts lol.......but then again....

To be honest, it's difficult to say what it is from feel, but I'll have a look later.

Mine was bonded on. Just gave it a pull and it came off eventually.
