   Hey ive just got a saxo vtr. Its w reg. With 130,000 on it. But one things the battery doesnt hold its charge and when its charged it wont start. But when i put it in gear and turn the key it starts. Is that just the alternator?? I payed 300 pound for it as hes goin in the army and needs rid off it. It has a kent cam and pully on it. It runs with no knocks and paint works good and no rust. Been lowerd 60 mil. Just the not starting is gettin to me, anyone help?

   Halfords do a free alternator & battery check mate.

   oh i see well i cant drive it as im not insured and it has no test or tax.
