Engine management light

   Hey guys, my brothers saxo has a rough idle when cold, engine management light has come on, but drives ok when warmed up.
   is this a big problem or easily solved?

   year/milege of the car? does it sound more noisey on cold start?

   Get it plugged into a diagnostics machine,that way you`ll know for sure what the problem is rather than spending money on parts you don`t need.

   its a 2003 vts 1.6, its shudders a bit when idle but after its warmed up its all fine but the engine management light stays on?
   does a diagnostics cost?

   Not everywhere charges for a diagnostics test where I worked it was free,but I got quoted £50.00 at Halfords autocentre last week it really varies a lot mate.
