Important! : Starting problems !!

   what it is my car will start for about a minute then cut out, it then struggles 2 start, when it does start it cuts out after only a few seconds.
   
   car got put on the computer and i was told i needed a new ecu, i got an unlocked 1 off ebay, fitted it and made no difference.
   
   am now thinking its fueling, could be the fuel pump, fuel injectors or anything else ?
   
   i was told that even tho i have fitted an unlocked ecu i will have to get it programmed it ? am not sure because my car starts with the new ecu.
   
   i am completely puzzled, could it be as easy as the fuel pump ?
   
   anyonce got any ideas ? cheers

   have u checked the fuel fillter down by the fuel tank and seee that one is not full of rubbish

   no av yet to check the fuel pump, injectors and the filter. i just dont think it will be as easy as 1 of these things with the luck i have with my car lol. could it just be that my new ecu just needs programmed in ?
