Boot won't lock

   My boot won't lock with central locking or manually using the key in the lock, when I put the key in it won't turn
   
   It's too dark to have a look tonight so thought I'd post to see if anyone has experienced this / knows what the fault is / how to fix etc..

   barrel is shot??? loose wireing???. my key doesnt even go in to the lock which is weird

   Could be the metal rod has come of the lock actuator.

   my key dont work on boot or passenger door, only drivers. not to bothered as its getting delocked anyway

   Yeah I thought it may be the connector rod, will check it out tommorow

   Strip the lock down?? then you can find whats wrong with it......

   It was too late, hence why I said I'd be looking in the morning and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts to save me time..
   
   Turns out the central locking thing is jammed, have removed it for now and can lock it manually.
