last few days i notice the handbrake starting tostick as i set off in morn all the way through the weather it has been fine no issues in bad zero temp all of sudden startin to stick tried reverse / forward , lever up down quickly nothing its still on and sticking more and more is there does anyone have any pics of the mechsanism that the handbrake from pad to cable uses on this model and have been informed that its just a pad system unlike the vectra disc has twin drum / disc for handbrake/rear brake am very mechanically minded but live in village so dont want to start stripping to find i cant put it together effectively to get me to the parts shop if u get me but if its as simple as freeing a little slave cylinder as such and can mess about with it and still get to the garage thatl do me il get under it have had this saxo for just over 6 mths and have come down from a scooby apart from the power drop and inside comfort due to size must say i sall not be parting with it till its dead they are the nippiest little beasts iv owned and work done so far has been so easy thnks for any replies that may come -- rear passenger h-brake by the way thx

#2Couldn't read that, lack of full stops confused me! Take it to a garage to get checked, can't imaging it being anything remotely complicated to fix.

As John said, get it to a garage and let them look, it will be something simple but if you dont want to start stripping it, then the only option is book it in. -
#4yeah sorry bout that left all full stops in me tool tray gimmme sec lol back .................................................. ... cheers booked it in for a check, then when found out the prob ? ? ? willl post reply with diag and fix.

#5my handbrake was sticking on 1 of my rear wheels, i chucked warm/hot water around and inbetween the spokes on my alloys, then reversed back and forward in the car and that freed it off.
