Bumper slats removing help please

   Ive bought a vt bumper off ebay and im planning on smoothing the fogs and removing the vertical slats. One the vertical slates have been cut out whats the best way to fill in the gaps along the horizontal slat? Any helps appreciated, cheers.

   i plastic welded under the gap that you end up with from cutting the slat out.. then filler over the top

   I dont think I have the equipment to do plastic welding, are there any other ways around it? cheers for the reply

   its not advised as it could lead to cracking ect.. but fibre glassing under the gaps and filler over the top?

   Ok is fibreglass expenisve and hard to apply? Ill need to get some unless my dad has any

   plastic welding is easier than fibreglass pal i help out at a body shop in my spare time pal all you need is a soldering iron and a bit of old bumper or similar plastic to a bumper really easy to do i would advise to do plastic welding rather than fibreglass hope this helps josh
