53 plater vtr with starting problems?

   hi my friend has trouble starting her can when its warm or cold, its not the starter, and tested the battery and thats fine, the alternator was tested and it came up with the 6th light flashing (6 lights mean good, didnt say about any other number) any ideas? Also since i tested the alternator the engine light came on, and we had trouble starting it after tested, wtf is going on? Lol thanks

   Put some fuel in then try on a serious note it could be the fuel pump? Check the pump, fuel injectors and the fuel filter mate

   Check for fuel coming through and check for a spark.Other than that it could be a crank sensor or coil pack that is faulty.
