a small how to guide to leather your seats

    things needed

    1. a walking foot industrial sewing machine . i know you may not have but its needed

    2. spanners to take seats apart

    3. hog ring pliers

    4. 1/4 foam

    5. spray glue

    6 leather . vinyl . cloth ?

i know im using bmw seats but to me seats are seats

first strip the seats then take off the metal clips that hold the material onto the foam there called hog rings

look at the seat how its put together .... then take away the stitching

there will be metal rods do not throw you will need them

get hold of some leather you want to use

now copy all the panels you want in leather from the panels of the seats and take your time on this they need to be the same

now glue the leather to the 1/4 " foam i use a good carpet glue

cut the foam around the leather

    now time to sew

put pipping on if you want it on

    keep sewing the panels together

on my bmw head rest at he back i had to glue some leather to the back

some of the panels all sewn up just need fitting to the seats ....use hog ring pliers and hog rings

i hope this helps sorry but ive tryed to do step by step as much as can
