Don't know about after market ones but try your local Peugeot or Citroën dealer. You can normally get them for trade. Just make up a company name like Toxic Motors and say your from there. It is worth seeing how much GMC, Sandy and Kam could do you a set of after market ones for.

I work for a motor factor and I'm currently looking for piston rings for my 16v, and it's very very hard lol I'm going to be going to a dealer for them, they're about 35+vat for the set of 3rings, then you need 4 of each set, so your going to be looking a good £150-£160 for them all. I mean I bet some one does do them but it's finding them, and tbh the time I may spend looking I'd rather just pay the extra 20quid or what ever it is for a set from the dealer

As for pistons they are very expensive, on service box I can't remember if they come as a set with the rods or not but it was about 900each or something insane
I can double check Citroen service box tomorrow if you want mate? If no one else has done so before hand lol

But there may be an of chance some one can get them like axracing said but there won't be many places that do

was about to say before i read chris' post, a set of OE gti pistons would cost more then an aftermarket set would new, chris rings aint cheap either lol, best place to get them is from an after market dealer, not searched but places like cituning or gmc etc should be able to get you some(wossner direct etc harder to reach), cant usually get em for less them £100, be prepared to feel inflation and the vat increase on all parts now, its a money press for ppl who shouldnt even raising prices

i think he may struggle to find aftermarket pistons tbh thats the thing, ive not looked into them much
but from what ive found so far not one of my suppliers stock piston rings and i have a lot of suppliers too, i know i could probably pick some up from maybe gmc cituning like you say, but going fom that i htink aftermarket pistons wont be easy to come by

i know they ent cheap though lol its a bit of a shitter, but this is where it helps having a good mate work for citroen too i get some mega discounts so i wont be paying much more than an aftermarket set tbh and best ive seen having a breif lo was hiflow heads at 90odd quid plus post, so i dont mind paying the tiny bit extra lol plus for how much i paid for the rest of my stuff for the engine build, it makes it even better lol
