lost my only key

   have lost my only key to my 1998 vtr help

   Youre fucked,
   
   Gonna have to smash the rear 3/4 window, then open the bonnet undo the battery, remove all locks and the key barrel, and replace with new ones, and unlock the ECU, replace fobs. gonna cost about £500+

   car has been delocked cant i go to breakers and get new barrel with the transponder reader as its a mark 1 iv heard the ecu dosnt need replacing and key

   Balderdash! about smashing the rear window. If you had any finesse at all you would know that it is possible to open the rear 3/4 by rapping it with your hand- thereupon you can feed your arm in and open the door. I have done this myself more than once on several different cars- including me Saxo.
