Hello
I have been here a fair while and know that saxo's are known for random revving and its usually the ICV.
I tried to remove mine but I can't seem to get it off without removing the throttle body.
On my old furio, the throttle body was held on by three allen key type screws and off came the ICV with it.
However....on my new VTR, the throttle body seems to be attached to the inlet....i removed the normal three screws but the TB seemed to be attached....is this right?
I don't really want to remove the inlet manifold to get the poxy TB and ICV off......
The odd thing is that it revs fine in the dry, just seems to be in the wet.
If I pull up to traffic lights, down the clutch and instead of dropping to idle revs, they stay around 2k...even when the cars out of gear.
I look like a right cock, makes me look like a stupid boy racer revving his car for a race......the revs wont drop though and seems to do it 6/10 times.
Could it be anything else causing this other than the ICV?
Doesnt do it when I start the car, just after ive driven about in the wet
