Manifold Heatshield

   Hi, noticing im getting a stupid rattle when my engine is just above the labouring level of revs around 2k ish??
   
   taking a look at what it could be and come to the conclusion its the heatshield over the mani.
   
   there is a centre bold thats been rusted straight through and the metal around it has also rusted so the heatshield is only held on by the other 2 bolts i think?

   the centre bit i said was totally gone and there is a bit of play.
   
   just wondering what bolts i would need for it. im going to replace them all because they look as tho they need replacing?
   
   any suggestions and advice please? plus shiney = sexy hahah
   
   oh yeah is this the correct one for a 1.1i forte mk2?

   think i might have 2. finding a bloody saxo around here is a hard part tho

   Just remove the heatshield

   pm swampy he can get u the bolts u need in stainless steel. have u tried just tightening up the bolts to stop rattle?

   Try a local Citroen dealer mate. I bought one recently for £10 brand new from them. You just go in to the parts desk and give them your chassis number, they bring all the proper parts needed on their computer.

   Cant tighten it up ^^ the bit where the centre bolt goes in has rusted so its free :] but there is part of the heatshield around the bolt because its rusted a circle around it

   oh yeah ill either try the scrappy or ill try citreon, cant remember where my local dealer is tho >_<
