stiff passenger door!!!

    right, my door has been getting pretty stiff over the past few months and now it sounds terrible when opened! when the door gets opened to the stay point (where it holds itself open) its really hard to close and when it does start to move it makes a horrid crack sort of sound.

    anyone else ever had this? anyone know the fix?

    The crack sound sounds as though it could be the check strap.

    Mine did that I just put sOmencopper grease on and it been fine since

    just put some wd40 on it, should work great

    Wd40 dries out after a while you need to put some spray grease on it.

    cheers. ill give it a go and see what happens. it is very stiff though so im not going to hold my breath!!!

    cheers for bringing this up - my drivers door just started doing the same.
    Can I just smear a load of grease on what I can see and it'll work its way inside as the door is opened and closed?

    yeah mine did same - just wipe a dollop of grease on the hinges and open/close the door a few times. it should loosen up
