Vtr "juddering" when pulling away etc...

Basically, My 02 Vtr "judders" rather badly sometimes... Mainly when warm. It's when you try to pull away from a standstill so only low speeds and 1st gear.

I can't think what could be causing it? There doesn't seem to be a loss of power as it can fair shift!
Only when warm, havn't noticed it any other time.
Happens in 1st only (though issues with reverse, see below)
    Also only when pulling away.

Other things that may be linked: When it happens in reverse, the exhaust shakes alot and car rev's itself wanting to stall. Though theres no violent juddering from the front of car like in first.

I really cant explain it better than that... Other than If your in a powerfull car launch start and its really grippy and the wheels are trying to spin but gripping? That kind of juddering from the front. It's hard to explain!

    Thanks for any idea's/info!
    Chris

release bearing, if it gets too bad the release bearing will shatter and when it shattered on mine it took the crank position sensor with it meaning i had to get the RAC to tow me home and had to pay an extra £20 for the sensor lol

so a new clutch kit should do it

or it could be that there is oil on the clutch plate, cable could be sticking, faulty or distorted pressure plate, worn or loose engine/gearbox mounts, gearbox input shaft splines could be worn

or you might have rubbish clutch control only joking

id just check that the mounts are all tight, make sure cable isnt sticking, if both are fine then id just invest in a new clutch kit, and when the box is off check the input shaft for any movement, when it happened to me i needed a new clutch kit and gearbox :O
