    when re fitting am i best with new studs? or can i just use some m8 bolts? whats best?

    whats wrong with your old ones? ive never replaced the studs, never felt the need to

    Tbh get new ones and washers, i did when i done my manifold on the sax.
    They are cheep so you may aswel.

    I got new studs, washers and nuts when I did mine as I ruined a few in the process. Was about a fiver for the lot

    Does anyone no the torque setting for exhaust manifold studs?

    Just get the longest breaker bar u can find and swing off it till the nuts get really really tight then suddenly just go loose. That's when u know it's right

    Its probably only around 8 Nm

    8? You sure? I was thinking more along the line of 20-30, well its 28nm on the bentley w12 if that's anything to go by!?

    I doubt it would need more than 12-15 n m, I dont have a haynes manual though with me to be sure, its certainly not going to be a lot.

    studs are 8-10 nm and the copper nuts are 6-8 nm if your using the copper nuts that is.
