Mk1 needles?

    Have been trying to look for a guide but keep coming up with nothing so thought id make a topic basically wanted to change my clocks over but i cant seem to get the needles of the mk1 dials as i know the mk2s just pull off so with out me just pulling and pulling and breaking them is there a different way to get them off or is simply just pull on them? Rep will be given

    what are you planning on changing them to mate as some of the kits just slide over the needles without taking them off.

    possibly plasmas im not to sure yet! or i might somehow try and make some home-made dials just for the laugh of it

    Be very careful if you make your own as thy only need to be off a little and the speeding tickets will come rolling in. The plasma dials i fitted before all just slide over the needle and then stick to the dial face with double sided tape on the back.

    and when i was looking at the plasmas the middle circle just doesnt look big enough to slide over ! thats why i thought youd have to take the needles off! but guess not cheers anyway mate !

    To take your needles off place a spoon either side of the needle & very gently push up,I stress very gently.Plus be very wary of the ebay white dial kits the card is too thick & the needles stick(I know to my cost)lol.
