How to remove Service spanner?

   How to remove Service spanner?

   How do i remove the service spanner off the dash i realise i have to press the needle a few times etc but not sure what sequence?
   
   Any ideas?

   Something like.
   
   Put the ignition on and hold the right button down for 10seconds then press the left button for another 10 seconds while holding the right. Something like this, will look it up in a bit.

   dont you hold one down switch the ignition off then back on then it goes?

   switch off the ignition
   press and hold down button 1
   switch on the ignition
   the distance remaining untill the next service flashes.
   hold button 1 down for 10 seconds.
   the display will read ''=0'' and the spanner will disappear.

   mine came back on after doing this when i first had my car ^^ only done 3,000 miles in it and its popped back up ill do it later, i know it needs a service anyway.

   Yes is dose but re sets the miles back. Mine is still on when you start the car showing you have Meany miles you have left. its in your hand book.

    Don't just make it disappear, it's telling you it needs a service so give her a service then it will be reset
