Important! : Weird problem.

    Hi all.


    Weird problem this 1 just before my exhaust CAT decided to go t*ts up my car developed a rattle like 2 pieces of tin hitting each other.I had the CAT replaced but the rattle is still there & the noise happens when I turn the steering or go over a bump.Thing is if I put my hand on the dash it goes away so i`ve had the clocks out replaced screws everythings tight but still the noise.

    Help.

    A`h I have a cunning plan do`nt worry I have my suspicions what the noise is its just that I can`t be arsed to get under the car & check the exhaust heat shields lol

    Was gonna say heat shield until i saw that when you put your hand on the dash it stops lol.

    The dash bolted up tight? i had the problem in my old car and saaw the passenger side bolt was loose!

    Yep thanks thats all okay,only started doing it just before the cat destroyed itself lol.Which makes me think its exhaust related.
