Open your bonnet on the passenger side right at the back where the windscreen wipers are go along to the right theres a drain hole which gets blocked.

i dunno if it will be the same as what I had, but if the ceiling is also damp near sunroof area then it could be blocked pipes - it runs down the pillar and soaks the carpet

If it is wet up there, or on the side then i'll send a list of things, how to fix it

Id start with one of these for safety reasons:

Get a hose pipe and see if any water comes in, usually blocked drainage pipes. could be coming in from the screen or maybe a leak from behind the dash where the coolent pipes comes through. Or top right hand corner if waters coming through the hole there.

Do what I did to find out if it was windscreen or not - 1 litre bottle, pour half along windscreen. Check to see if leaks. Mine didn't, so I poured the rest on the sunroof glass so it had to go down the drains....check, water was pissing in where it normally does.

Im in the same boat but it seems to be under my rear seats, absoloutely piss wet through!
My mate said it could be a blocked drain, there is no sign of damp from the sunroof mind at the headlining is in tip top nick!

    I had the same problem

    It was the sunroof!

There are rubber drain pipes that run down each side of the windscreen and connect to sunroof drain tray that sits below the glass.

The holes from the sunroof tray were blocked with blue tissue paper for some bizzare reason. This meant the water collected in the drain tray and caused it to rust and rot.

the water would drip slowly all the time and even after it had rained.

To clear any blockages i would remove the headlining. then remove the rubber drain pipes then poke somthing into the drain tray to try and disloge anything thats there.

Test with water after to see if it works

You need to pull back the headlining (after taking off all the plastics on the roof) then you will see two black hoses - they just pull off and that is the drain

Its quite involved so its more than a quick look

    Hope that helps
