Alternator wiring help

   Can anyone tell me what the small red and green wire are for on my Vtr alternator please thank stuarty

   Is it like a spare plug on the same loom?If so its for aircon(not fitted in the uk)

   no mate it is connected into the back of the alternator mine has gone and i got an other one but it doesnt have the plug on it i was just wanting to cut them and put them where there ment to go i think the red one is a battery light but i dont know what the green is for
