1.1i alternator on a vtr lump?

   hey everyone, just bought a vtr lump from my local scrappy to drop in my 1.1 but the lump doesnt have an alternator on it. it might be a stupid question but can i use the alternator from my 1.1 lump or will i need a diff one?

   as long as you match the crank pulley,alternator pulley and belt, yeah you can.

   I think the mounting brackets should fit the VTR engine as I remember putting AX brackets onto a VTR engine before. Check the alternator bracket stud pattern and compare it to the VTR engine. If its the same, just swap the whole lot across.

   awesome. will save myself some cash and effort doing it this way lol always good. will check at work tomorrow and hopefully drop it in saturday
