   Whats the best air filter for a VTR
   
   BMC?? KandN?? Piper x

   Depends if you want performance or noise. Open air filters are better for noise where as enclosed such as bmc are better for performance. What car do you have???

   What car you got. Have a look in the search area as there has been a lot of stuff on topics like this (induction kits) and there will be more there. I have a vts with a bmc and would not get an open one as personally I am after performance. KnN, pipercross have a nice sound to them but do no performance.

   ive got a x reg VTR....isnt there a filter that incrases performance and makes a nicer sound

   Have a look here theres loads then you can compare the different ones mentioned. I have the bmc like I said and am very happy with the performance and sound. The only one I would not buy is the triangle one that mounts at the front of the car but that is my opinion.
