Cambelt Replacement?

    Does anyone know any garages that do cambelt replacements around Birmingham/Tamworth?

    Just had it go on my Saxo, then i bought a Fiesta as a replacement car and it went on that too just weeks apart. Im now looking to buy another Saxo and get it changed straight away.

    Rather than buy another car wouldn`t it be cheaper to drop another lower mileage engine?

    Nah mate, the MOT has expired on it and i know it needs two driveshafts atleast. Its got 166K on the clock and its a 1997, so a newer one would be ideal, i just dont know any place that do cam belts lol

    bit of a trek up the m42 from tamworth but we do them most days, is it on the diesel?

    Nah mate, it will be either on a 1.1 or a 1.4 furio, not sure which one im getting yet. Theres only one garage round here so far that do them and they quoted me £175 on a 1.1 and £220 on a 1.4. Not sure if thats good or not?
