Full rebuild

Right, got my old engine which suffered a cambelt failure and I wanna do something with it. Obv the heads goin need rebuilding with new valves etc. What I want to know it's what headwork is worth doing and what cams to put in, the bottom ends goin remain standard but rebuilt with new bearings rings etc
Where's good an not mega money to get the head done?
Inlet side of things I'm unsure, is there anything in the cit/pug range that can be fitted without to much headache an be beneficial to perfomance? Ie 106rallye? Thanks

Not really worth porting and polishing/gas flowing etc unless you are chasing every last bhp or going turbo.

If its 16v then you cant jus bolt on a 106 rallye inlet. You could get the JP4 C2 VTS ali inlet put on with an adapter for the J4 throttle body.

What's that goin to do then for the effort?

The same advantage as putting the 106 rallye inlet on an 8valve.

You may aswell just rebuild the head as standard if you dont want to pay out more money. Could put some ph3 cams in while its out and remap?
