Important! : Help with timeing

    Right my old bottom end broke so i had to get a new one but the head on mine was still good so iv put that on the new engine but didnt set timing marks basicly i need to no wich pistons have to be at tdc to have the timing correct?

    Anyone need to do this in the morning?

    Also how do i no if it has a TU engine?

    All standard saxo engines are TU.

    Number 1 cylinder (@ transmission end) needs to be at TDC. Put a 6mm bar in the locking hole into the flywheel, which is just below and behind the crank sensor, above the 5p size hole. Lock the cam with the 8mm hole through the cam pulley into the cylinder head.

    thats all correct, if its all pinned up and belt tensioned correctly the timing will be 100% on
