Remove caps on headlight bulbs?

   Hi
   Can you remove the caps that cover the bulbs? The lights are pretty crap and I can't see how they help?
   Would it still pass the mot?

   You can't as the caps help focus the light - would blind oncoming drivers.

   depends on the bulb, some have a capped top that blocks the light and does not blind oncoming drivers.
   
   
   
   
   
   pretty sure you would fail the MOT if removing these.

   mine do have the cap on the bulb also though, so does that mean I would be ok to remove the others?

   Ive got hids thought about taking them off but my lights are awsum in the night. I think you have to snap them im sure it conects to the clip that holds the bulb in

   Yeah I've just bent mine down for now so I can put them back for mot if necessary, I'm smoking the lights soon so I was going to remove them while it will be easy
