Important! : Which sensor has gone?

I have a problem with my saxo where as soon as i get over about 3000 revs the engine starts to choke/judder and the engine management light comes on. Anyone know which sensor this is?

wont be your icv above 3000 rpm. it could be anything from your o2 sensor or sensors in your exhaust to dodgey spark plugs to a dodgey coil pack. with the engine management light coming on i would say its more than likely your 02 sensor in your exhaust.

it has an after market exhaust on it (kam racing) any idea where the o2 sensor will be?

    Crank sensor...

Mk.2 VTR's have two O2 sensors, 1 at the top of the exhaust manifold (pre cat) and one after it (post cat)... most shitty running problems are caused by the pre cat sensor

yeah i would think it would be o2 sensor, as its only happening over 3k revs.

Happened to me, the knock sensor came loose and limited at 3k revs. Just plugged it back in and disconeected battery for a while and it worked
