new drive shaft or cv boot

   hi want some advice on weather to change the cv boot or to replace the drive shaft
   my clip has come off and spat grease every where so i no you can change the cv boot but there is a sqeaking noise when driving and a grinding noise when turning the car is a 03 plate and i dont think ethier shaft has ever been replaced. so any advice would be great.

   If its spat all the grease out and the shaft is making a noise just change the shaft mate. A shaft is only about £80 MAX from a factors. Not worth pissin about if its knackered.

   If the boots come off and grease has gone all over chances are dirt has gotten into the cv joint and itll eventually go anyway so just get the full thing the boot kit things are a waste of time
