#2best cams...
You are limited to not going to wild due to being on standard internals. John @ gmc has a new camshaft design, 708s/ph3s are the usual choices before going for forged internals1 user thanked this post: -
#3i was told i did not have to do the internals ? if i did do them what other cams can i put in m8.
-
#4If you change pistons you could fit any cams you want really.
Prob best to stick with 708's. -
#5If you did the internal then you could put and camshaft in the Saxo range, depends on how far you want to go.
-
#6Stick with the 708's
Check manufacturer cam specs to see what is needed to run the cam. Some require a remap, some itb's and pocketed pistons and some all the above and need solid tappets/followers to reach the desired gains..1 user thanked this post: -
#7I won’t to get up to 160bhp Throttal body kit and a remap the head is getting ported and polished.
-
#8You WANT 160bhp?

#11ok m8 lol

#12708's are best1 user thanked this post:

#13right i will get them thanks for all your help

#14match a camshaft for the type of use the car will get. The 1321708 Cat Cams are about the limit for a fast road setup without making everything very expensive.
-
#15So they are a good choice to go with Jenvey throttle body kit getting head ported and polish with cat cams and Jenvey throttle body and will get some sort of ecu if it needs 1, what do you think m8Quote:match a camshaft for the type of use the car will get. #16for a road car I would be fitting 708's. All the other mods will be a nice combination.1 user thanked this post:
