Alternator eating vts!

    This morning my battary light came on on the dash

    Now when i get the rev's up high it seems to faid alway but when i let back off the light comes back on

    What could it be?

    Battery or Alternator? Because it faids away when i put my foot down.

    I answered already, go to halfrauds/ATS and get it tested for free. If your alternator was faulty, you wouldn't get far tbh.

    no worries. Smells like a typical battery failure to me

    get a 55 amp, or a saxo 1.5d 75 amps if you're running some big ice inside.

    My battery light is on even tho Ive changed my battery AND altenator. Runs fine so its being left.

    If you have a dirty/bad connection on the alternator the battery light can flicker/stay on on the dashboard because 1 of your alternator wires goes to the dashboard light can also be a dodgy bulb on the dashboard.

    Spot on mate

    The dash battery light is actually a warning light that appears if not the correct power is flowing through the alternator.. Ive had this before and my alternator died around 2 month later. Get a voltmeter and get the alternator tested put it on the positive and negative of your battery and the battery should be about 12.4 volts without the engine on and around 14 volts when running

    why would there be a problem with his battery if it starts and light goes off when high rev?

    Going to get the pulley from euro car parts tomorrow and do it on the drive
