help with removing a 6" key mark in paint

    high peeps.
    just a quicky ...

    cppl of months a go sum "see you next tuesday" decided to key my pasanger door.

    not a light scratch ... nice 6" deep cut.

    i was hopeing for sum advice for a novice as to how to get rid of it ....

    i layerd it up with a touch up kit so it wont rust but could do with some help with getting it looking good again.

    wether any one knows of a local touch up shop near NEWCASTLE .... or how to do it myself .... plz bare in mind im RUBBISH at hands on work and this stuff....

    respray pannel ! job done!

    just smooth it in with filler, if needs be. then spray the pannel. primer....few coats of paint...then lacker

    phone chips away mate they will blend it in with your panel no need to re sparay the whole panel

    if you look on http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/ (i think thats the address) then there is a guide to doing it. Its not simple and requires wet sanding and the right equipment.

    take it to a bodyshop would be my advice!!

    guy tried to play me for a fool ... .
    started of at £590 for that door and 2 other little scrapes ....
    they he dropped, to close the sale, for cash £300

    For the key mark alone he wanted £120

    wasnt impressed ... any one no any other companies near newcastle?

    yea ... guy tried to pulll the old

    " i remember my first car, i loved it , hated any little scrapes on it"

    thats only coz i was washing it as he turned up ... hat!
