rattling under car LOUDLY!!

    got a furio today as my vtr was wrote off last week

    anyway i bought it for peanuts, and when was driving home there was a really loud rattling under the car at about 4000 revs, i got home and took a look under the car,, now im no expert mechanic but iv never seen a more rusty exhaust than the one on my car, so im taking its the exhaist thats rattling??? any suggestions and is this a common problem, also what should i do ???

    it'll be your exaust or your spare wheel cage

    funny you mention that cuz my spare wheel cage dusnt have a spare wheel lol

    but yeh i started to shake it and it moves very easily, what could i do to stop it and for the exhaust should i buy a whole new system or just the backbox ??? cheers

    The cage shakes? could put a spare in there see if it stops? maybe your brackets or clamps need to be tightened up or replaced on the exhaust...

    yeh the cage shakes, i might just but a new perfomance system but dunno

    weigh the cage down mine is held with cable ties at the mo.

    Check the exhaust rubbers for wear.
