It means there is a fault in the airbag safety system, look under your seats theres 2 orange wires disconnect then reconnect them(common problem)

Its common knowledge that saxo airbags don`t work anyway & given the fact that their meant to be changed every 10yrs who actually goes the trouble of buying a new 1?Have you priced up the cost of a new 1 from citroen?probably cost more than the value of your car.

If its a mk1 saxo then the bulb twists out,its mark 2`s that have the lights soldered in.

Mk1 lights twist out, and MK2 needs ot be solderd, but if you wanted an easy but yet sometimes stupid way of dealing with things, put black tape over the light

Not recommended but still, gets the job done.

I have also heard of putting 2x 1.6Ohm resisters into the circuit to cut the light off but then again, airbag wont go bang when you need it to

would the airbags inflate if it disconnected the wires and put them back?

Not if you disconnect the earth lead on your battery for 10mins before doing so(as a precaution)
