power steerings gone

   just bought my old saxo back, missed it too much. power steering is gone though. the person i got it from said its a ten quid fix and its a wire apparently needs sorting. what could this be? i'd like to find out without having to get a new pump.

   Sure the battery is fully charged? Is there not a reley that fails that has something to do with the p/s?

   aaaah the old ten quid fix.... hope you're lucky and find a faulty wire but main culprit is usually the pump failing

   really mate? is there a fuse for it? is it electric? how would i know if the batterys not fully charged?

   pump certainly is electric, theres a relay for it just above the pump. If it was a tenner to fix it,i'd have thought the guy would have got it sorted prior to selling seeing as a saxo with duff power steering is about as saleable as real estate in Hellmund Province.

   aye mate that all works. so what are my possibilities? you think it is the pump? where can i buy 1?
