rear light fault

   here the prob
   
   right light - static light works, brake light works,
   no indicator(light on the inside flashes very fast)
   no fog light
   
   left light - no static light
   indicator works (light on inside flases slow and the battery light flases at the same time)
   no fog light
   no brake light
   
   please help suppose to be takin it bk for the mot retest tomorrow cheers

   Rear earth fault, probably corroded.

   Have a look at cluster board on the each of the lights and test each of the wires with a multi meter. It should be battery voltage for each of the blubs you want to check (indicator should be 0v to 12v to 0v etc). If it isnt, then check the earth connector resistance to a good earthing point (boot lock bolts) and make sure there is little or no resistance. You might need to solder new wires on to some of the metal strips if they have rusted away.
