Most people don`t bother they just mask up the car(no overspray)

as said do it your self ive done my front bumper but i took it off to do it rather than doing it on the car, but am doing the rest some point this year will be doing it on the car is alot easier to do

all he said to me was its only the cost of high build primer and gloss black and lacquer

do it yourself. just sand it down, plastic? primer,
sand that. then spray black, sand, (spray, sand etc) until your happy with it, then put a laquer over it

Anybody had theirs wrapped in black vinyl instead of getting them painted?
Our loacal body shop doesn't sand them down just two coats of high build primer all that is needed and then flat primer down then hit with three coats of black to give it some depth then two coat of a glaze lacquer (basically one coat of that is equivilant to three to four coats of normal) then flat and polish and there done nowt to it
